For over 15 years, Amorphous has been a leader in hair styling working with both men and women, and has become well known in Toronto’s urban fashion and entertainment industry; frequented by celebrities, and high-end clientele who seek the advice of Creative Director, Buster Berkley.
Berkley, professionally trained in New York, opened the Toronto salon in1989 with the ambition of creating a salon that was a leader in the hair and fashion industry, and catered to a diverse clientele. Today, Amorphous works with all different types of personalities, and hair types, and has one of the finest technical hair care departments in the industry. From cuts and colours to texturizers, relaxers, dreadlocks and hair extensions; Berkley and his highly trained team of hair stylists are industry renowned for creating custom looks to compliment their client’s personal style, and are considered experts in curly hair care. It’s the salon’s focus ongoing education and training that has allowed them to remain an industry leader for over a decade.

Bio: Buster Berkley
Buster Berkley, Amorphous Salon’s Creative Director, is well renowned in the hair care industry for his high-skill level, and expertise in curly hair care. Trained in New York, Berkley has been cutting and styling hair for over 25 years, and has worked with high-end clientele and celebrities including; Destiny’s Child, Vanessa Williams, Mya, and Keisha Chante.
With his high skill level it is no surprise that Berkley has won several awards, including; Outstanding Hair Design from Sifa Awards and Outstanding Hair from the Reel Black Awards, and been featured in top publications such as the Toronto Star, Globe & Mail, Flare Magazine, and Chatelaine.
Today, Berkley brings his experience from hair styling for music videos, commercials, fashion shows, and red carpets to his salon’s clients, and continues to not only share his passion and expertise with them, but also with students as a teaching consultant. In past Berkley has consulted at Topaz Academy, Revlon Professional in Montreal, and Jenele Product in Long Island, New York.
Considered a trailblazer in the industry Berkley continues to be a well sought after hair stylist, and is currently the Creative Director of the Upper Forest Hill Village salon, Amorphous which he opened in 1989.
